Independence's defense came roaring back to take a 21-0 victory over the Pittsburgh Tacos.

The Vision defense harassed Taco QB Seneca Wallace with 5 interceptions and 5 sacks.

Geez, I've clinched at least a 2 seed, with a great chance to take the 1 seed. The Solar conference in League 1 is lacking strong teams.

Dang. Duluth is 9-5 in the Lunar Conference, and right now it looks like a tough road to even reach the playoffs.

There are only 2 teams above .500. That's pretty amazing.

So far, my games are looking good. I have one inexplicable call in the Columbia game in League 2, where I think we would have punted. Perhaps in the first half a team shouldn't go after any 4th down inside their own 40 unless it's 4th and 1 or maybe 4th and 2.

The short version is that players placed on injured reserve during the regular season are out. Players who played in week 16 are in. Players who missed week 16 without being placed on IR have a chance of coming back in the playoffs.

I thought about whether to introduce new injuries randomly during the playoffs. I'm leaning against it, since it could have a huge effect and would represent a clear departure from the history of the actual NFL, if for example, Tom Brady received a severe injury during the first round of the playoffs. The details of how I will accurately :D estimate the odds that a player can comeback from a week 16 injury are a little mathy. I think I'll keep that a Sandbox Corporate secret. I'll vet it with Rain Man, but I'm pretty happy with this idea.
