I'm right, you just don't want to admit it. People make excuses for the QB's they like then hold the ones they don't accountable for everything.

I actually like the guy and am not against drafting him. But I think the people comparing him to RGIII or Aaron Rodgers are a bit out there.

It's weird that people refuse to change their opinions. There's a lot of time and information... everybody wants to say they knew first.

It's stupid.

This hype machine started after the game against James Madison. It was here BEFORE the Baylor and Texas games.

Moron.

Why the **** should I change my opinion about the player?

Jesus ****.

I'm just saying people get set on a certain guy, and no matter the evidence they stick with the guy. And they consider anyone who has doubts stupid.

It's silly.

Smith averaged 4.8 yards per attempt and 8.125 yards per completion. 32/54 (59%) for 260 yards, 3 TD's and 1 INT against TCU. He also rushed 10 times for 28 yards.

Chiefs Pantalones got his ass removed because he lied to me. I had the rule from the very beginning that I'm not wasting my time keeping track of ALL the Chiefs fans who say, "Sure, add me to the list. I just want a QB, that's all." If that's the case, then I should have just posted a link to the Chiefs Planet member list.

Again, I view this as a bad game for Geno. If he has too many of these outings, I will being to question him. However, what puts him above and beyond is the natural talent and his ability to learn. He's just as cerebral as Russell Wilson in that regard, able to pick up plays, schemes, and offenses at the drop of a hat.

Geno Smith has to give me LEGITIMATE reason to doubt his ability as a pro. He hasn't shown that.

So what's silly is YOUR insistence that the last three games are indisputable proof that Geno Smith is no longer the best QB in this draft. You don't have a leg to stand on.

Wait until Geno starts sucking, THEN come talk to me.

And right as you post this, Barkley bombs one 75 yards. :hmmm:

I'm not off the Smith bandwagon yet, but I don't think Barkley is as bad as some on here make him out to be.

I meant on a national level. Which really took off once the guy threw for 600 yards and 8 TDs against Baylor. Once that happened, the Heisman spotlight fell straight on him as the favorite. I highly doubt Geno Smith gives a flying kite what any of the morons here think.

Moron.

Three bad games in a row against good teams is a concern. I think he's a good prospect but I don't think there's much difference in smith Barkley or Wilson at this point

I've never been against Barkley or Wilson. I've been waiting for either one to cement themselves as the best QB. Hasn't happened yet.

I'll do an honest re-evaluation of all three guys after this season is over.

at this point while watching the Oregan game, it looks like Barkley has the edge

Again, Geno Smith was being talked about in national circles BEFORE that Baylor game. It's silly to think that West Virginia has lost 3 straight times because Geno got Heisman butterflies.

My only other conclusion was to interpret your post as a jinx joke. Which is why I called you a moron, moron.

To be fair, Oregon's D is not as good as TCU's IMO.

However, Barkley certainly has played much better tonight.

You see, I just want the best QB prospect available, and I'm not going to get pigeonholed with a certain prospect because as fans we want the best guy possible.
