My bad. I misread your post. He mentioned Guyer on multiple occasions tonight.

I'm not and it was made clear I wasn't. I already called the pitch to Guyer awful.

I was calling Hamas out for saying the calls to Lindor were "exceptionally awful."

Gotcha, I only caught the conversation on Guyer. I didn't realize there was a subplot on Lindor, my bad.

Grats on the win.

As I suspected. Can't even follow your own bullshit.

I'm not the one making up things that didn't happen.

You were talking about a batter that got backdoored with a slider. Well, since that wasn't Lindor, who was called out on a 100 mph pitch that baseball viewers refer to as a fastball, I thought you were referring to Guyer, who *was* backdoored.

I told you the Guyer AB was horrible and showed you the evidence. The rest is you just being butthurt.

He did get backdoored with a ****ing slider. It was the first called strike. Holy shit you are stupid. Where did I say he was struck out on a backdoor slider?

What was the umbrage to the call over Guyer over? A backdoor pitch that he was called out on. Why was there umbrage over it? Because the same pitch was called a ball in the AB the two previous times.

I was talking about Guyer the whole time and you started talking about Lindor, conflating the two. That's a you problem.

From 2576 on, I'm literally referring to the Guyer AB every single time because I assume that you knew the difference between a FB and a slider, and the upset in both ABs was on the K call.

Well, as Lindor didn't strikeout on a slider, I made (and I guess this is my fault) the assumption that you were talking about the guy who struck out on a pitch that actually backdoored him, which is what the pitch to Guyer appeared to do.

jd1020 10-30-2016 10:21 PM

I'd also like to point out the word "slider." I wouldn't want to make the mistake of assuming that you didn't know that Lester doesn't throw a slider, because you watch the games.

Again, I'm operating on the assumption that you're a dumbass because you're confusing pretty elementary stuff. If you want to get into the semantics of a cutter vs. a slider, let's go, but you'll note that I never said Guyer struck out on a slider, but a pitch that backdoored him, because Lester got him with a 90 mph cutter.

I'm the dumbass that brought up the exceptionally awful calls made against Lindor and couldn't follow along after getting called out.

Sleep tight.

I'll give you the strike three call against Lindor. But the other called strike (I think it was strike one, but I'm not sure) was a bad call because Chapman missed his spot big time and the catcher lunged out to get it. In that case, if the pitch is borderline, it's not called a strike b/c the pitcher missed his spot so badly. But according to Brooks, it was on the black, so you do have an argument there.

Again, I was talking about Guyer for 20 posts because he was the guy who got a backdoor strike three call and that was the call that mattered most in that AB. Lindor was not backdoored, and since we were talking about someone getting backdoored, I assumed that we were talking about Guyer, because he was the guy who actually got backdoored. Now I know that when referring to someone, you could potentially be referring to anyone else in any situation, regardless of context. I'll adjust.

How awful have the Cubs been in their franchise's horrid history that the fans are singing and dancing in Wrigleyville after the game...and they're down 3-2. I know they haven't had anything to celebrate since WW2 but any other ball club they get laughed at. Odd.

Prison Bitch 10-30-2016 10:55 PM

Cubs move to 3-14 all time in the series at Wrigley
