My only other conclusion was to interpret your post as a jinx joke. Which is why I called you a moron, moron.

Yeah people talked about him... it's not like he was a nobody. But that Baylor game took it to another stratosphere. That was an all time epic performance.

I don't think Geno cares about winning the Heisman. Just defenses are preparing for him better. West Virginia has been brutally outcoached in a couple of these games.

Geno wasn't in the Heisman running before the game...

Agreed.

It's stupid.

There are a couple of things I look for when watching QBs.

Pocket awareness and accuracy, and Geno Smith has both in spades.

Everything else is coachable, but once you reach the NFL level if you don't have those, you have no chance to develop them.

Especially accuracy. When he's clicking his accuracy is remarkable.

You are right, he was the favorite before that game.

However, Barkley certainly has played much better tonight.

Yes.

TCU wanted to do what K State did to them. Keep them in front of us and make them beat us underneath. We did that. Also, our secondary has been great this year. We have been getting a lot of picks.

Mr_Tomahawk 11-03-2012 07:41 PM

Shawn Zobel ‏@ShawnZobel_DHQ
Geno Smith had a 4.81 YPA in today's loss to TCU, his third-straight game of YPA of 5.0 or below.

Shawn Zobel ‏@ShawnZobel_DHQ
RG3 had one game below 8.5 last year (7.1).

Oregon's D isn't as good as TCU's?

I completely disagree.

The Bad Guy 11-03-2012 07:46 PM

I wouldn't hate Geno if we picked him, but at this point, I'm highly skeptical. He's regressed since the start of the season and that's a concern.

His mechanics look off to me in the last 3 games. He throws a nice ball on outs, but it's like he's trying to put too much touch on passes he doesn't need to.

Titty Meat 11-03-2012 07:47 PM

You can't really compare stats when talking about Oregon. They usually have their 2nd teamers in by the 3rd quarter
