Shaun O'Hara hates our draft. He also loved matt Cassel so that tells you how smart he is

staylor26 04-29-2017 03:01 PM

O'Hara calling us his biggest disappointment because we were so close to a SB but didn't get a day 1 impact player

Which is a big problem. Linebackers make up a large portion of the defense and most of the ones on the roster sucked last year and couldn't stop the run or rush the passer worth a damn. Dorsey continually ignoring linebacker is hurting the defense. We've been put into a situation where we really have no choice but to pick up Ford's option year because Hali needs to be off the team as soon as is possible and Houston isn't even a sure thing. Inside linebacker is a mess and full of nobodies. I hope we don't have too many needs next year because we're not going to be able to address a whole lot of needs in the draft without a 1st round pick.

Saw that. Dude doesn't know shit.

He's like a bad Paul Giamatti character.

If Florida coaches (****ing Florida) are saying stay the **** away, no matter what....that's bad.

Wow

We weren't close to the Super Bowl at all. Even if we had managed to get past Pittsburgh, new England would have donkey punched us

He wasn't wrong. ROFL

The only guy who will likely contribute early on will be Hunt.

These are the same ****ing people that look at KC vs PIT or KC vs NE and immediately go with the much better QB 99% of the time and give Smith as the reasoning.

pugsnotdrugs19 04-29-2017 03:07 PM

O'Hara is just like Schrager, wrong.

If needing the defense to step up to an all-time level is close to the Super Bowl, then yeah, we were close.

Hammock Parties 04-29-2017 03:09 PM

lol @ anyone saying we were close to the Super Bowl.

We'll be close in 2019 if Mahomes has a good 2018.

47 cornerbacks taken, an NFL record

I wish we would have taken one.

displacedinMN 04-29-2017 03:12 PM

I always wonder how many draftees will be in the NFL in three-four years.

Can someone please translate this sports writer's (a.k.a bottom feeders of the journalism pyramid) message that she is trying to contextualize, and convey to the public on Twitter?

TIA
