We passed on DK, Terry McLaurin, and Diontae for Mecole.

Weren't there rumors we wanted Ruggs the year Jefferson came out?

Ruggs was physically everything the Chiefs like in a WR so that isn't stunning.

Staylor loves him and I think he does pass the eye test but man another shifty small guy is not really what I'd hope for.

Quentin Johnston would just change the whole thing but he'll be long gone.

edit: yeah and Ruggs had the tools uh, on the field

I know the CP brain trust has constantly lobbied to cut MVS before his roster bonus, but I think MVS showed late in the season that he can be utilized more than just a deep threat. Once again the front office is way higher on him than we are.

Unfortunately they didn't seem to value route running.

Jefferson was clearly better as an actual WR.

This place will freak out when we trade for Jerry Jeudy right before the draft

I do really like Flowers, but I think I'm out at 31.

After the top 4 (JSN, Johnston, Addison, Hyatt), I'd just get one in round 2, even if that means trading up.

Jefferson had a bunch of questions coming out people forget that, he wasn't the best receiver on his college team. He was on an all world college team, he ran 99% of his routes from the slot.

There are all sorts of people that have Flowers ahead of some of those guys...

I wouldn't.

Rather have him than Hopkins or OBJ.

Issue is why would Denver trade to us?

You'd rather trade a 1 for Jeudy than a 4 for Hopkins?

I liked him way better than Ruggs who I thought ran one great route.

My top 3 were Jeudy, Ceedee, and Ruggs.

He was a top 3 WR for me and that draft was strong.

I don't think Jeudy will take a 4.

I throw that 2 fast.

How in the hell could they expect a 1 for a guy with no 1000 yd seasons and 9 career TDs? With zero TDs the year before last?
