Problem is our best guys are 6'8. Guys that small are going to have trouble posting up and beating people in the lane. I have to give Self credit, he's getting the ball to these guys with some space and letting their athleticism and ability to hit midrange shots work. Yeah, it's better if you have a guy like Robinson that is undefendable or a huge mother****er like Withey, but he's doing a nice job with 6'8 guys.

Initially they tried it with Lucas and it just wasn't happening. I'm an admitted Lucas homer, but it wasn't there.

Robinson was 6 10 but didn't really play that much bigger than that. He struggled with bigger shotblockers.

It's all about positioning, establishment before the ball gets to your side. These bigs don't do that very well.

Forte is ****ing deadly from 3. Kid has no limit on his range.

I predict he cranks out 27+ in Allen on Tuesday night. Hits 70% of his 3s.

Hopefully mason is on point Tuesday. If he can't get it done, I'd put Oubre him and tell him help is there if he gets beat off the bounce.

I hated Keaton Paige for sure the first couple of years of big 12 play, but he hustled his ass off, and made the most of the ability. After he graduated i realized i have alot of respect for that guy. He does look like a barnyard animal though this is true
