Using the rib cage off a striper. Another guy there had one twice as big.

Edit. Caught on a rod and reel if that's what you were asking.

Does anybody have an idea for making a bait bucket for shad. I made a cooler with bubble boxes but it won't keep them alive long. I'm told the bait box has to be round and have a filter because the shad continually shit and it fills the water and the shad drive their noses into the corners of a rectangular box and beat themselves to death.
I went into a cove with a throw net and caught tons of shad for bait but they just die off.

Yea, that's what i was aking. Nice one. I've had to spend this entire fishing year on the sidelines and I got the fever bad.

November is a good time to fish as water temp drops, especially for catfish.
