The 31 wrecks the 24 out of the chase. I am very pleased for my boy! The closer baby! The only damper is less the 22 the other two are not near Gordon or Brad~

I hope HMS learned a lot about the new racing/format today.
They have a "means nothing" free-for-all week next week to hone their skills with the new rules, let's hope they take a hardened car (perhaps their Martinsville chassis???) to Homestead and come ready to trade some paint with a few others and get used to "racing hard". As long as nobody's worried about what they've seen in despiration moves in the last two weeks, then there's no reason think they won't say the same thing when HMS drivers do it. |
I guess it's a pretty good cross section of the manufacturers: 2 Chevy, 1 Ford, 1 Toyota-san.

Perhaps next week the HMS boys can hone their skills on Lagano next week, it seems like Team Penske is due some time on the other side. After all, we all know winning the race is the #1 thing, they need not worry about anything but wining this one race, to hell with anything the other folks might be driving for..
It's all about this race, or getting into the next level, and since there is no next level after next week, all that matters is winning the race. If the guys who are trying to win the championship get punted, I'm sure NASCAR, and their commentators, will understand and defend any level of paint swapping.. |

Like I said, it'll be nice if HMS gives no space to anybody in the Panske group, starting with Lagano, and see how interesting it gets from the hypocrites in the booth. It won't happen though, it'd just be fun to see it. |
Fantastic job today by Harvick! Such a great car. Best of luck to him in Miami. Best of luck to all the guys left for a championship.
Surprise, surpise, again I don't have any problem with what Newman did to pass in the end. Current points format I'd like to see a night race at Bristol as one of the last chase races. Get Darlington in there. Maybe even Richmond. Throw Loudon, Kansas, and Chicagoland out of the chase races. I think all the races would be much more entertaining. Jeff Gordon crying again about how a race ends up was comical. |

I'll LOL if Newman or Lagano are put in the wall (for any reason), just to hear the hypocrites tell us how "it's different". But alas, it won't happen,. |
