I currently dont have any servers.... but the hardware support was one of the reasons I dumped Mandrake 6.0 Not enough Hardware support..

I tried Ubuntu and it was OK it didnt scream Leave windows like Suse did,

If I had a server it would probably run FreeBSD/OpenBSD or Linux of some flavor-

I run Postfix with virtual domains using Postfix Admin/MySQL. I tie it up with Amavisd-new and ClamAV/SpamAssassin. Drop a little Courier IMAP and set up TLS and you're golden. Bastard runs all day, every day, forever. It's wonderful.

I installed 10.1 on my work machine and it seems everytime I am in YAST and make a configuration change the machine freezes, and I just get a black screen.

I'm Guessing you might have an NVIDIA based Gfx Card... You may have to reinstall the video drivers...

Does Fail Safe fix the issue?

Need more details.. can you log into an console screen... ?

Well, I got my RAM card today; it fits, and it works properly. That's the good news; the bad news is that I booted my pc from the linux KDE format of the LiveDVD and the thing went through a series of very scary sights and sounds before I interrupted the process.
