Have you seen the AFC this year? An 8-8 team just advanced to the 2nd round. Hell an 8-8 team could have a home game in the AFC championship. That 8-8 team wouldn't have made the playoffs in the NFC.

I'm not sure it's FOX's fault the league is watered down.
