It looks like Gannicus is an enemy to Spartacus in the show, but history tells otherwise. So it will be interesting to see how it plays out.

I guess maybe a couple more seasons and sparticus crashes the games to free them..

But no telling, they could totally retell it.. I am going to like the story on why Gannicus came back to fight since he is a free man..

Well, from the previews Spartacus gives Gannicus a beat down then is initiated into the group.

Really liked tonights episode. This season is much better than I anticipated.

IMO, the New spartacus really came out in this episode. the entire episode was just fantastic

all he needs to do is to get his hands on some steroids to get the "Gladiator" physique.

Just watched the new episode tonight. Man, that was good! It was just tense, exciting and perfect on all levels. The writers on this show need a raise. They're great at making amazing heroes and freaking cunning villains. Ashur made good on his promise to Lucretia in the most brilliant way possible. And the retribution at the end... wow! Now... will there be forgiveness for Gannicus? It's going to be interesting!

And yes, finally, a very good performance for Liam as Spartacus.

I haven't looked at this thread, I'm only through episode 3 of the new season. The new Sparticus just isn't resonating with me, not strong enough so far.
And turning Crixxus (sp?) into a love-lorn cry baby is plain wrong.
Hopefully it gets stronger from here on out.

This show is a melodrama in the best possible sense. Really kickass way to tie up the arcs so far this season.
