I think the layoff, the fact that Carwin is a fight and Brock is still an entertainer, plus the fact that CoMo picked Lesner is what makes the difference.

Yup.....can't wait til someone comes in w/ a chair and Lesnar drops the F5 on Carwin. :rolleyes:

Couple of notes from me, the Super Awesome MMA Expert that knows more than everyone about MMA:

1. I've never seen Brock Lesnar really take a hit. So, it should be interesting to see how rocked he gets if Carwin gets a good shot in.

2. Carwin has never gone more than one round as we all know. So I'm curious to see how his arms are around round 3 and 4. Does he still have the power?

3. Everyone talks about Carwin's power while he punches from short distances. But do you guys remember Frank Mir's face? Or Heath Herring's? They were ****ed up when Brock was done with them. Especially Heath. I think Brock's punching power in under rated.

4. How good is is Shane Carwin's wrestling, really? Can he defend Brock's take down? Can he get up if Brock takes him down?

5. Can Brock keep Shane down? He's never fought anyone that big and strong before.

and lastly, i firmly believe that we'll be able to tell who the winner of this fight will be within the first 2.5 Minutes of round 1. Im not saying it will be over in round 1, but im saying after that 1st 2.5, it should be obvious who will win this fight.

Brock being able to keep Carwin down is the key. if brock just takes him down and works from the top the whole match like he did with Mir, there's not much Carwin will be able to do...

Exactly. Im pulling for Carwin, but that's a big mo fo to have on top of you. and if Carwin is constantly having to pcik himself off the mat, will that exhaust him and make him lose that knock out power that he's known for. And if Brock gets rocked early, how would that affect his ability to actually keep Carwin down?

All I know is....this had better not be a 1 round fight.

Guardian says you are reeruned and know absolutely nothing about MMA. Nor do the trainers or any other amateur enthusiasts out there. So just take the gospel and realize the Guardian has called this fight and Lesnar should just stay home. I will therefor not rent this PPV because it is a forgone conclusion. Thanks for the savings :)
