That's really not the point of this.

Would you want to watch some chick feed her 5 yr old?

Never... but in the past however many years, have you ever thought 'gee, maybe at some point the physical benefits become outweighed by the potentially weird mental dynamics?'

You do what you feel best, even if i had the power to stop kids from breastfeeding at a certain age, i wouldnt do it, let otherwise normal parents do what they need to do... but that doesnt make it ANY less strange.

I dont need a doctorate, to know that going into ages 3,4,5... is frickin weird... chop up some pork chop for the little suckler & get him a GLASS of milk, like a big kid.

Find me any scientific research that shows any psychological problems later in life associated with extended breastfeeding. Anything.

I know you would love to replace breastmilk with other food, but I'm more interested in what is best for the child. So far, everything I've read agrees with my current stance.

Do what you feel best Hef, but dont get all indignant when you notice people acting quietly uncomfortable.

If a child that old still needs to be breastfeeding that often, which is extremely rare, I would think that homeschooling would be a more practical solution. A child that old (like 7?) breastfeeding isn't even the point of this thread. It started with a 3 year old. Most children around the world breastfeed until sometime between 3 and 5. If you're looking for the weird ones, it's the people that make their kids stop way before then.

While I pretended to masturbate to make her laugh.

I just tickled my kids to make em laugh.
