Soooo, I'm pretty stuck on this album. It's just goddamn good. I didn't know how I felt about the Reflektor single when it first dropped; but this whole album has so many kick-ass songs.

'Normal Person' is probably my favorite at the moment.

It's a close second to Funeral in their discography for me right now. I don't know though. The more I listen to this, the more I think it might be their best yet.

It hasn't grabbed me yet after 4 or so listens. I imagine it will, but currently it doesn't have that operatic feel that I loved so much about Funeral. I'll keep listening, though, as sometimes AF albums take a while to sink in.

Current favorite: "Here Comes the Night Time."

I've been through it about seven or eight times now. It will absolutely grab you at some point. I was driving back from Iowa last night and gave it another listen; because, like you it wasn't really grabbing me as much as I that an AF album should.

Something clicked last night though. I've listened to it three times since then.

Easily bolted ahead of Neon Bible and The Suburbs for me. It's just so damn eclectic and enjoyable to listen to.

Listened to the new Eminem cd and it went to the recycle bin after.

Maybe I'm just in the right mood, but this Death Grips album is less abrasive and more "listenable" than their others. Like I'm kind of nodding my head happily and not feeling the desire to go strangle someone.

This ****ing song... released like ages ago within the hype cycle of hip hop, just keeps grabbing me over and over again.

I've only listened to it 1 more time since last time. Been listening to way more electronic/ambient/chill because I'm in the midst of grading a shit ton of papers (I have a hard time with lyrics/singing while grading). I need a good road trip to break it out on.

I've been trending away from death metal for a while now. Leave it to a grindcore side project to reel me back to my one true love.
