the kid is built like Bradford, when he hits the weight room he'll be about 225- 235

Great, you like him and see him as the franchise QB of the future.

When they play like dogshit and have a worse QB rating than Croyle, I'm not hitching my wagon to that. You choose to, fine by me, I'm just trying to point out some facts hoping some of it will hit home with a few reasonable thinkers.

Actually, I'm just sick of Cassel. I was glad the Chiefs didn't draft him.

David Carr got 5 seasons in Houston.

Brady Quinn is starting his sixth year in the league.

i remember seeing the number and it was ridiculous.

David Carr had the same problem Cassel does. He looks at the rush.

Look at how many sacks the quarterbacks that played after and before him for Houston took.

Your comment was similar to saying the 2008 Patriots line was bad because Cassel got sacked like 50 times.

Proof is in the pudding and the numbers don't lie. Quinn, at this point in time has a WORSE QB Rating than Croyle. That is fact.

The fact that he is a first rounder should give you, your first clue, that the Browns wanted him to succeed and gave him chances to succeed.

Nothing wrong with supporting a player, but some of you are so desperate for a QB, you're not looking at the facts.

That's a ****ing joke.

carr looked more like jim everett. cassel watches his WR's get open, then covered, then open.... then covered..... then......

That Browns team had a ****ed situation when they took Quinn.

Derek Anderson had a good year while they let Quinn sit and learn and DA had a chance to have another one and I think splitting first team reps with Quinn in 08 hurt both players.

More proof that you must be decisive in the NFL...no half steppin.

Derek Anderson should have continued to be the unquestioned starter and got every single snap in practice with the 1s.

Instead, they split snaps and neither guy was ready and the progress that team was making got flushed down the toilet.

Quinn only had one game that he played well for Cleveland and it happened after having a completely ineffective previous game and after his good game (can't remember who the opponent was) he laid an egg the next week. Iirc he has two sub 100 yard games with a 250 game in the middle.

Huh?

When he is under pressure, Cassel stops looking downfield and watches the rush.

quinn had protection but he didn't have decent WR's. 2009 was the season he got starts and braylon edwards only played 4 games, massequoi was eh and there was nobodies like robiskie behind that. not exactly a good group to throw to. but, quinn played himself out of the starting job. he made too many mistakes with the ball.
