A ND fan bitching about teams being ranked higher than they deserve?

Seriously. This dude should be whining about something that actually matters. The Georgia situation will work itself out - either they'll lose to Bama and drop or they'll beat Bama and be worthy of their ranking. JFC of all things to cry about he picks one that doesn't matter.

There is no damn way SC schedule is weaker than ND's cupcake gauntlet with UF, LSU, GA, Clemson, and Vandy as their opponents. I throw in Vandy because they could and would stomp Pitt, BYU, and Purdue to whom you only won by 3 all at home. Think before you hit that post reply button because right now you're trolling.

He's talking about UGA's schedule, which for the 2nd year in a row was incredibly soft.

Man shut the **** up. I was talking about Georgia's schedule being weaker than ND's. That is a fact. Also, statements like the Irish's defense doesn't compare to any of the top defenses in the SEC proves what a dumb **** you are.

For everyone else, my issue with Georgia being ranked so high is that they should have to jump a few teams to be in the NC game with the horrible loss on their schedule. If they beat Alabama, unless it is a game settled on a horrible call or something weird like that then yes their credentials will say they deserve their ranking. Right now they aren't ranked where they deserve to be.

I'm not whining about the situation. I simply asked the question of why are they rankes number 3. Nobody has given me a good answer. You yourself have stated that their schedule has been incredibly soft. The way things have shaken out with other teams losing it won't matter, but if things were different and say Oregon had won and Georgia was ranked 4 then if Alabama would beat Georgia they would get credit for beating the number 4 team in the country and could have possible jumped a team they shouldn't have.

I agree the way things are this will all shake out the way it should. I was simply wanting someone (especially an SEC fan to answer my question "Why is Georrgia ranked number 3?")

Notre Dame reminds me of OSU in 2002. Winning a lot of close games, playing in a National Championship that every tells them they don't deserve to play in and then winning the whole thing. I'm not a Domer fan, but to watch SEC fans jerk each other off every chance they get makes me want to puke. They are all best friends (SEC SEC SEC) until one of them drags their balls across anothers face or poisons their trees. Lamest fans around.

If you're keeping score at home, we've now got a Notre Dame fan complaining about teams being ranked too high and an Ohio State fan complaining about undeserving teams playing in the NCG.

The answer is because they lost early in the season, didn't lose again, and then beat the (then) #2 team in the country. FSU & Clemson have stayed lower because the only ranked team each has played is each other. K-State & Oregon are recent losses and UGA beat Florida head-to-head.

If a conference really wanted to get out in front of this situation, they would play all of their conference games before playing the non-cons. Then, most of the losses would be very early in the season.

Lamest fans around? WTF? An ohio state fan talking shit about lame fans?

What's lame are pathetic ****ing losers petitioning the President to pardon and allow their team "rightful access" to the NCG despite the fact that they are ineligible due to NCAA sanctions.

If ND beats USC and makes it to the NC game against Alabama (assuming Bama wins their CC).....I at least think it'll be a good game. I'm not going to go out and state that it's going to be a blow out like a bunch of people around here. I think it will all come down to Golson and whether he can limit his mistakes. I damn sure think that ND's defense can hang with Alabama's offense.

See, this is what gets me. We were sold on the BCS bullshit because the powers that be said "it makes all the games count". That is not true. A loss early in the season doesn't count as much as a loss later in the season. It shouldn't matter when the loss happens the repercussions should be the same. The voters are too lazy to do their homework. It is simply, "well number 3 and 4 lost so I guess number 5 and 6 move up". It is lazy and it benefits the teams that schedule their tough opponents early and schedule Podunk State late in the season.

My arguments haven't been about ND and where they should be ranked or whether they have been over ranked in the past. They have absolutely been over valued based on tradition and favoratism. My arguments have been strictly about the flaws in the system and how this season it seems to benefit the SEC. Thanks for being honest about your opinions and trying to be objective.

I'm convinced a chick from Ohio State broke your heart at some point.

That is some serious Buckeye butthurt you've got going on.

Florida pushed their shit in and you are still carrying around the butthurt.

It's comical.
