You're also making the statement that the team doesn't like rewarding their quality players with lucrative long term deals. The team would rather cut a good player to save some money. That doesn't give players a good feeling about signing with KC, if the team has a history of being cheap with contracts. |
Joeckel's contract will be FULLY guaranteed.

last year's Oline: Albert,Lilja,Hudson,Asamoah,Winston Lilja retired Winston cut Albert traded? Hudson knee injury more serious? we are looking at a completely new Oline which is generally not good to do all at once. |
I think it goes without saying that this would be monumentally stupid. If the Chiefs do this, the front office will have proven its ineptitude beyond a shadow of a doubt before the end of their first draft. What would be the point of putting any energy into a team for the next four years when the front office is clearly incompetent?

Dumping Albert for Joeckel is dumb as ****. I don't care if Vince Lombardi and Bill Walsh came up with the idea. |
I think Albert is overrated on here. He's a good player, but I think you take the picks.
From what I'm told, the conversations with Dorsey and his agent have gone nowhere. Albert wants to be paid like a top 5 lt and they don't view him like that. They franchised him to trade him. |
