Yeah, if you suck, we'll ship you to a Super Bowl contender.

I bet Baldwin is all sorts if broken up over this.

This is becoming a myth. yes, players like Rogers, and Whitner succeeded.

Where as players like Braylon Edwards, Glenn Dorsey, Colt McCoy, Brandon Jacobs are finding out very quickly that if you aren't a hard worker, and talented you will be exposed and gotten rid of very quickly.

All of those players I mentioned have a questionable work ethic, or a sub standard skill set.

He got all the chances in the world. It's damn good staff loaded up with pretty good coaches and if they felt that Baldwin wasn't "getting it" then there you go, i.e., the Jenkins/Baldwin trade.

From all accounts, the guy is lazy and doesn't run/won't learn to run proper routes, which is first and foremost in a West Coast system. Maybe with Kaepernick, he'll be allowed to free lance a bit more which might fit his style of play.

All I know is that Baldwin was in Reid's doghouse from the get go and it is now obvious that he wasn't getting out anytime soon.

Good trade for both teams.

Poor guy has to go catch(drop) passes from Kaep.

signing and guaranteed money are responsibility of original team for both players

roster bonuses and base salary transfer to new team

He should be...his chances there aren't great.

well, there's that too

getting cut by a team is still get cut though so he probably has less of a chance to make the 49ers roster than ours.

He seems a little better this year but he was a drop machine in college and he has been at times in training camp too. I'm not getting my hopes up and I don't think he's very good but, who knows? Maybe Reid can turn him into Kevin Curtis?

Baldwin had a 13 foot broad jump? Holy balls.

As for the trade: welp, he had that one great TD against San Diego a few years ago. The only positive thing I can remember from him after all this time..

Well it would have been better than taking Jenkins, that is for sure.

He has to earn that right.

He has to beat out guys like Austin Collie, Chad Hall, and Marlon Moore.

Yeah. Let that sink in.

Actually Dorsey has played well so far.

If Millen clinched the "Worst GM Ever" ranking, doesn't Pioli have a chokehold on #2?

This thread should be titled "Find out whose stupid on CP"

And surprise surpise, Immem58 wins in a landslide.

I'll make it easy for the dummies:

- Harbaugh "Hey Andy, I've got this turd that's been hanging around practice that I'm about ready to flush"

- Reid "No way, I've got a big one that's been stinking up the joint around here for years"

- Harbaugh "Wanna trade em instead of flushing"

- Reid "Why not?"

That simple, Baldwin is an unmotivated and slow pile of shit. He has known for at least the last couple seasons that he needed to get his fat ass moving or he was gone. He took a billion snaps in TC last year with Bowe out and didn't do a ****ing thing during the season (Bowe has put up 1K plus yards with the same shit QBs so stick that argument up your ass right now). He was going to be cut or traded for a 5th or lower this year.

Simply two coaches with turds in their punchbowls that decided to give each other's logs a sniff before flushing.
