Wainwright has thrown way too many pitches in the middle of the plate so far. Someone in the video dept should relay this to Matheny, but he's too goddamned stupid to do anything about it.

He's been better as a ML pitcher than he was at any level of the minors. That's what is especially unsettling. He had marginal K rates all throughout the minors which makes almost no sense given his stuff.
