I thought Glennon was the 2nd best "sit and develop" guy in this draft.

For some reason teams refuse to slowly bring talent along now...

Mike Smith may be a "nice guy" but if I'm the GM or owner in Atlanta, I'm firing him and his entire staff.

Once playoff win since 2008. Time to move on.

Fair enough.

If Tampa finishes with a top 5 pick, I think it would be a mistake for them to draft a QB.

Schiano needs to go, as well as possibly Dominik.

Marquis Lee.

With the picks they've giving up, drafts and contracts, I think that may be a disaster of a situation.

Although I can't comment a lot, I haven't watched the bucs much this year, but from the little I have seen I wasn't overly impressed by glennon but that was early.

You couldn't have been impressed "early on" with Glennon when he's playing his 6th game of 11 today.

That team was a wreck, released their starter and put in Glennon, a third rounder. He's improved each and every week.

Any new "head coach or GM" that would bench Glennon and draft a QB in the first round should have his dick pulled out his asshole.

Hey man, you don't have to tell me. I was completely against Matt Ryan as a "Franchise" or "Elite QB".

Without superstars on the perimeter, he's dogshit.

Again, the only game I watched the bucs play was iirc, his first start, so I can't really comment on it.

Jackson/Williams/Lee would be a ****ing lethal combo.

That said I'd still take him over Smith...

Looking like that may be the case.

Did you get a chance to read either of this articles I posted in the subject?

It's either fire Smith or trade the QB. those two are vinegar & water.

I wonder about the GM'ing too..

Maybe. Smith doesn't exactly have talent on the perimeter, either.

I'm not a Matt Ryan fan, so that's a tough sell for me.

I couldn't agree more .... Smith has been given a rock solid roster and opportunities galore ..... Time for Blank to get rid of that guy!

Yeah, but I brought the subject up last week. There's two ways to build a team:

1. Pay a "Franchise QB" $20 million+ a year.
2. Build a great team around a good QB and pay him $8-12 a year.

IMO, the Ravens overpaid and the Falcons overpaid. With Mike Brown's history of being "cheap", I'd be shocked if the Bengals overpaid, especially with Dalton's inconsistent performances despite being surrounded by stellar players.
