I'm not sure what else you call a QB who threw for 33 TD and 4300 yards last year and has led his team to the playoffs all three years of his career.

If he was our QB people here would be jizzing in their shorts constantly.

Now say something stupid about interceptions you wank.

Let us know when he shows up for playoff game.

I can't watch those gifs, it'll make me sick. Words can't describe how embarrassing this pick was.

I would take Alex Smith over that clown any day. Bengals should have drafted a QB early this year like Teddy Bridgewater, because we all know that ginger aint winning them shit.

How many times did Alex Smith go to the playoffs in his first three seasons?

No we wouldn't. People would be bitching about the horrendous play he had in the playoffs. And losing again and again in the playoffs because of him.

Andy Dalton is garbage.

You have no ****ing clue. The guy has played three years in the league and gone to the playoffs all three times.

No Chiefs QB has EVER DONE THAT. NOT EVEN DAWSON.

Hammock Parties 05-29-2014 06:37 PM

The last time this team even got to the playoffs 3 years in a row, it was the 90s.

Even Stram's Chiefs didn't go to the playoffs 3 years in a row.

**** ANYONE who doesn't think this fanbase would be stroking off Andy Dalton constantly. We would be in heaven.

Actually we would be having the exact same debate as we are with Alex Smith since both of their contracts are up at the end of the year, and that's basically what the Bengals fanbase is doing, exactly what we are here.

Is Andy Dalton worth the 18 million+ tier? Is Alex Smith?

it's the same question for the same level of play.

Of course not.

No it's not. Alex Smith's BEST YEAR is 3300 yards.

Andy Dalton has never had LESS than 3,398 yards.

Considering age and ability Andy Dalton is worth FAR more than Alex "Checkdown" Smith.

mcaj22 05-29-2014 06:45 PM

Right, but who gives a shit about what they did in 2012.

I don't care that Alex Smith was carried to his only playoff victories by the best defense in the NFL at time, and then he beat the Saints. He didn't do that with the Chiefs and I am only concerned with paying him a shitload of money for what he can and will do in future.

I also don't care that Andy Dalton was able to noodle arm 80 percent of his stats thanks to AJ Green, two athletic TEs and a bunch of other weapons that I think any of us could throw for 20 touchdowns with off the street. I don't care that he did that as a rookie or last year, then faced a real defense in the playoffs and got beat down unlike having to play the old, broken down, slow, shitty, overpaid defenses in the NFC North. I care about paying Andy Dalton about what he can do for me in the future, and that's can he win even one smeasly shit ass wild card game for our franchise?

It's the same question, for the same tier of player

pay 18 million to cap strap the Chiefs with Alex Smith while not having the #1 defense in the NFL to carry him against good QBs and him not being Peyton Manning or Tom Brady to attract any NFL veterans to come chase a championship for cheap? Do I want to pay that?

pay 18 million to Andy Dalton so AJ Green and a bunch of other young freak athletes can pad his stats and then the Bengals watch half them walk out the door because they can't afford them thanks to Daltons contract? Do I want to pay that?

All for a couple 10-6 records and a Wild Card loss for both teams?

I don't know about that...

edit: I should preface this by saying I like both Alex Smith and Andy Dalton as players, and what they are paid now, or at reasonable contracts. I don't like them at Tony Romo, Jay Cutler, Joe Flacco type money just like I don't like those QBs at that money.

Hammock Parties 05-29-2014 06:53 PM

They're not the same tier player. Andy Dalton brings things to the table that Alex Smith doesn't.

New World Order 05-29-2014 06:54 PM

Can we go back to making fun of that injury prone pussy Fisher?

BigMeatballDave 05-29-2014 06:59 PM

LMAO @ Clay pimping Dalton.

Who's next, Josh Freeman?

notorious 05-29-2014 07:04 PM

Dalton's cock is tickling Clay's trachea.

Don't lie. If any QB had led this team to the playoffs three years in a row, auto fellatio by every homer here.

Not good enough.
