I don't see any reason to think our run defense won't improve with the continued improvement of our young DL, getting DeVito/DJ back and adding Branch.

That's the thing, though.

I tried to think of that grouping and had a hard time making that list. Most of our guys are younger and have been improving. The only older guys we have that might start to decline are coming off injury like DJ and Devito.....have high round replacements like with Tamba...and then possibly Grubbs.

This is a roster filled with young talent that is ascending, not in their 30s ready to fall off a cliff.

Well, there is enough bad tape from last year in our run defense that opposing coaches will try to use to exploit our run d unless the guys upfront learn to diagnose better and stop the run before it gets to the second level.

He was under the knife his first 2 off seasons. This is gonna be his first year playing left tackle after a full offseason of health and strength training and having Grubbs next to him will help, as well....especially after having the worst guard in the NFL next to him last year. That alone narrows his responsibilities and will help his effectiveness.

I'm expecting him to go from being a bottom 10 Lt last year to top 12 this year, or better.

I know that's not a huge statement, but it's big improvement on the field.

If they can find a QB to groom to take over, this team is stacked almost everywhere else.

Yes, definitely at OL and WR. ROFL

This is a mediocre team until proven otherwise, and True Fans are currently suffering from delusions of grandeur.

Sherrod -first rounder
Fisher - first rounder
Grubbs - first rounder
Allen - second rounder
Stephenson - third rounder
Morse - second rounder

There's some talent to work with there

Where these turds were drafted is irrelevant at this point.

Maybe Morse will turn into something. Grubbs has 2-3 years left.

The rest? TRASH.

I'm interested to see what these guys have in mind for Sherrod and Morse.

IMO I'd like to see them wash their hands of Stephenson and Allen and have the
OL be like this....

Fisher
Grubbs
Kush
Morse
Sherrod

First off, I don't like cheaters and undependable players...Stephenson has been the poster boy for both of those things. If he isn't able to show he can play at a high level for 16 games, I hope he is replaced mid season.

Allen hasn't lived up to his draft position at all and coming off injury, he needs to be vastly improved to show he deserves to be a starter in 2016 here, or elsewhere.

Those 2 can get ****ed by a 400 pound Mexican cactus for all I care.

The fact they are both in the last years of their contracts is even more reason to try out other options if they don't look great right away.

Don't worry about Clay and his negativity. He's Always wrong about the Chiefs. If he is being positive about a player, coach or the team, then they go to crap. If he dogs on them, then they do well. Remember last season when he got onboard about the team? They promptly went to shit. I welcome his negativity. It's good Karma for the team.

Yeah man remember when Alex Smith turned into a prolific passer and Eric Fisher turned into a pro bowl LT.
