It was the right call. Herrera will be unavailable tomorrow if he pitches two games in a row. Resting the relievers matters. The injuries to Holland, Davis and Hoch should prove that***

This isn't on Ned. It's difficult to control our usage of relievers during two stretches into deep October, but it's why he must rest them as many days as possible in August/September.
