If a trade is in place for us to go ahead of Arizona, it won't officially happen until that pick is on the clock. No way we could risk jumping up, and then being leaped by Arizona immediately after.

It might be. The stars could be aligning. No clear front runner and an exceptionally deep draft where picks hold a higher value.

True contenders shouldn't give a shit about sending their future 1st. There should be no concern whatsoever that it'll be a top 10 pick.

If they really believe there's a franchise QB out there, give up 27, next year's 1st and whatever other chump change it takes to get it done.
