Self, bless his heart, thinks Dedric Lawson is the best passer he's ever coached and that Grimes is the most complete guard he's ever coached.

If I'm a NBA scout who follows B12 basketball, it's already too late. Agbaji is getting my recommendation as a 1st round pick.

We know what Vick is, and I don’t want him back.

This could be the start of a team like the 06 team.

Lightfoot heading to the showers early.

Well, he's better than Charlie "Chucker" Moore. Unfortunately you had to play Moore in this game since Garrett is out.

Point Guard depth chart should be Dotson: Garrett: Grimes: Moore: Give up

KC_Connection 02-09-2019 01:58 PM

Amazed they are a 3 seed right now.

“The final spot on the 2 line came down to Michigan State’s eight Quadrant 1 wins, five of which have come away from home,” Muir said. “While Kansas has a similar number of Quadrant 1 wins as the Spartans, we thought Kansas’s performance on the road, along with the unfortunate season-ending injury to Udoka Azubuike, kept the Jayhawks behind Purdue. At the same time, the abundance of quality wins kept Kansas in front of Houston.”

At no point should the committee EVER punish a team for an injury. You EARN your seed.

smithandrew051 02-09-2019 03:06 PM

Thank you, TCU!!

Prison Bitch 02-09-2019 03:41 PM

We played the hardest SoS

Avg opp is 14.51 per better than the avg D1 team

You get rewarded for that as it should be

smithandrew051 02-09-2019 04:23 PM

A Baylor win vs K State tonight means that KU controls its own destiny in the conference.

Reerun_KC 02-09-2019 04:50 PM

Yep. Remove the cancer and now they can focus on a goal of a conference championship

Dude - they beat a team that was 112th ranked defensively, worst in the Big 12, who they were supposed to beat by 12.5 points.

BWillie 02-09-2019 05:43 PM

What a gift K-State is getting. @Baylor - an otherwise difficult road game. Baylor is without their two best players - King McClure & Mikai Mason. Still close early.

Prison Bitch 02-09-2019 06:01 PM

A team next year of

Dotson
Grimes
Achbaji
Garrett
azubuike

Mitch the bitch, McCormack, Moore is a top 5 team.

TambaBerry 02-09-2019 06:09 PM

So, we're tied in the committees eyes with Michigan State but handled them a lot better then the score indicated and they get the nod

As underwhelming as KU’s been at times, and despite losing their fourth star player to date, they still have more quality wins than any team in the country.

Is this court bothering anyone elses eyes?

Pablo 02-11-2019 08:16 PM

Yes it's awful.

smithandrew051 02-11-2019 08:43 PM

Charlie Moore has to be the worst Jayhawk to get significant minutes under Self. He’s just bad at everything and makes extremely low IQ basketball plays.

At least Vick sometimes gets hot.

O.city 02-11-2019 08:45 PM

Was coming to post about how bad Moore is but I see you guys have that taken care of

My god

Josh Selby disagrees.

What the shit is a frogarmy

Imon Yourside 02-11-2019 08:46 PM

I called getting Moore out at the last timeout, waited too long major liability. He is out of control and can't hit a wide open jumper to save his life.

At least Grimes is a freshman who is probably pressing, Moore won't get any better.

Reerun_KC 02-11-2019 08:47 PM

New player to focus the rage on.

Moore. You’re the next man up.

ROYC75 02-11-2019 08:50 PM

Selby had a few big games until he got hurt. Once he came back, he sucked.

Moore has had one good game all year and makes terrible plays.

smithandrew051 02-11-2019 08:52 PM

The All-Terrible Bill Self Kansas Team (only guys that played significant minutes):

1-Charlie Moore
2-LeGerald Vick
3-Brannen Greene
4-Micah Downs
5-Carlton Bragg

Reerun_KC 02-11-2019 08:53 PM

Omg the hate list.

Greene could shoot. He doesn't belong on there IMO. JR Giddens gets my vote. He was awful at basketball and bar fights.

Reerun_KC 02-11-2019 09:00 PM

O.city 02-11-2019 09:20 PM

I know he’s not flashy but I like lightfoot.

I think McCormick can be a nice developmental big as well.

Frankamp should be on this list way before Greene. I'll try to think of others.

KC_Connection 02-11-2019 09:24 PM

Justin Wesley over Bragg as well. He played a lot of minutes one of those years.

O.city 02-11-2019 09:24 PM

Dotson is going to be a really good player

May regret that little stretch, had it at 10 and got 3 straight stops but couldn’t extend the lead any

Lightfoot is a decent energy guy, but needs to not be getting 30 minutes a game. (If he can get that far without fouling out)

Yeah I don’t like lightfoot a lot of minutes but kind of in the Sasha kaun lite role

KC_Connection 02-11-2019 09:32 PM

It's hard to see how Agbaji would not be drafted based on what I'm seeing.

He doesn’t have a great feel for the game just yet. But that is a hell of a body he is operating with.

Yeah, I quit trying to figure out where the draft will go but yeah, he’s a hell of a ball player. I’m just amazed at how comfortable he is out there 10 games in. And continually amazed that Self RedShirted him.

But he’s a monster and is really skilled for a freshman

He’s faster than Frank. He’s also more slippery than Frank.

I don’t think he’ll ever be as tough as Frank, which is not a knock. That dude was just a ****ing bulldog.

Dotsons game won’t ever be Franks, Dotson just doesn’t have the blatant disregard for personal safety. But I think he can get to where Taylor was his senior year. I’m a pretty big Taylor fan because I can separate his late Junior/senior season and he was really REALLY ****ing good. I think Dotson can operate at the speed Taylor did and looks to a more confident leader. It’ll be a different offense for sure, but that’s how I see it.

Future is definitely bright.

Buehler445 02-11-2019 09:47 PM

They said on the broadcast that they’re thinking the TT game but I’m thinking he had a setback. He warmed up for one game, I think TT and couldn’t go. Maybe it was KSU.

DJay23 02-11-2019 09:51 PM

About time they called Robinson out top. He's been knocking Dotson all over the back court or the last 5 minutes.

ROYC75 02-11-2019 09:52 PM

Imon Yourside 02-11-2019 09:56 PM

Lightfoot is more like leadfoot on Defense and man Dotson has had a few boneheaded turnovers tonight. Not really like him.

Christ this team folds when it hits a little adversity.
