Lol, I know you get control for 4-5 years. But thanks for the info. That was polite of you.

My question is what exactly does that give you control over? How much production can we count on from a couple rookie WRs? Can we look at past history of Chiefs drafted WRs and extrapolate?

How many yards, 1st downs, and TDs can we expect from these rookies? North of 1,000 yards, 30-40 1st downs and 10 TDs?

How about situational football IQ? How many will be installed into the 4-minute or 2-minute offense by mid-season? Hurry-up? You know, situations where they would have to be on the field 8-12 snaps in a row, maybe no-huddle, be 100% on audibles, etc.?

Or, will those rooks spend most of their time hanging around on the sideline, catch 20-30 passes for the year? i mean, I know you don't know any better than I do so I'm not trying to be a dick here, but historically which is more likely?

It is a fair question, historically speaking they wouldn't do much. But with this WR room with not alot of experience, with this head coach\OC and the GOAT QB I think they would contribute quite a bit with the hope by playoff time they are ready to go.

I mean how often did Reid roll out rookies at DB's especially 3 of them at the same time?

I'm not hopeful that any rookie WRs are going to have immediate big impacts. Especially where we'll be drafting them. But who knows, maybe Andy will have a radical change of philosophy in 2023.

Pivot: did you guys know that for about the first three years Andy was HC in PHI, he actually did the gameplans for both the offense and the defense every week? Andy was a beast.

The odds are definitely in your favor. I just think it is a little strange they haven't even brought back Watson. He is young and cheap and knows the offense. Heck Pringle and DRob are available as well.

In Veach\Reid we trust.

I'm wondering about JW as well. I think it's probably a given Veach brings him back. But he's not the answer either. A role player at best.

lmao MVS is the new Demarcus Robinson.

I can't recall a time where a player was trending in twitter for almost a week with no end in sight. The holdup for a potential trade has to do with financials it seems. How much is Arizona willing to suck up? I would love to have DHop with the Chiefs. No doubt he would make the team a whole lot better as far as offense is concerned. To think otherwise is dishonest.

Rolling three rookie DBs was an accident, brought on by McDuffie getting hurt in Week 1 though. I don't think that was the plan. Also, playing DB is simpler than playing WR. Especially in KC.

Kelce on his podcast seemed content with the WR room we have now. Wouldn’t mind D Hop tho.

Too bad his QB is Wilson.
