Ugh...I had that happen a while back and tried most of the DIY remedies. Nothing worked. I had to get a new one. There are some big game titles coming out soon though, so you should be able to get a good deal on a bundle package maybe.

You should abandon all hope on that one. I sold my copy a few months after release -- ****ing disgraceful.

Chances are, there won't be any expansions on PS3.

I was reading the other day that in the "code' from the newest update, theres PS3 coding and also leaked the third expansion in there.

So it might actually happen.
