Immediately going to turn the page on any reservations, though, and enjoy the **** out of an improved roster.
Going to enjoy skull ****ing the rest of the league to the tune of home-field advantage. |

Hope Manea doesn't win multiple Cy Young's.

Losing Manaea hurts. No way around it. But I'm not going to fault the team for going for it.
He does have some warts that I believe he will overcome and hit his Top of Rotation upside. But he isn't without risk. The biggest thing is that Zobrist now makes the Royals lineup just rock ****ing solid. It should look like this, immediately: Zobrist (LF) Moustakas Cain Hosmer Morales Rios Perez Infante Escobar Once Gordon returns, you get this: Zobrist/Gordon Moustakas Cain Hosmer (you can make a good argument for Gordon here, too) Morales Gordon/Zobrist/Hosmer Rios Perez Escobar |

Take it from a Thunder fan.
Cash in and win now. **** tomorrow! Let's do this! |

He'd better for that price. |
Zobrist can play multiple positions. Depending on severity of Gordon's injury and crap play of Rios/Omar it's a good move.
|
There's a difference between a utility player and a productive super-utility player who can hit. Zobrist will probably play almost every day.

He's not one of those util players that you play out of desperation, he's a util player that you can put anywhere you want on the field on any given day. |

I just had Manea as untouchable. Oh well. |
We are simply maximizing our winning window. This is just too good.

He will replace the weakest player in the Royals lineup when Gordon returns and provide a well above-average bat at that spot (even in RF, if Rios slumps again). |
