Are we really crying over David DeJesus?

Don't mistake the trade value he had at the deadline for his actual trade value. If he hadn't gotten hurt and the Royals had moved him at the deadline, Moore was in line to get something valuable for him in return. But it didn't work out that way.

His true trade value was shown with the offseason trade. The A's did a good job hiding Mazzaro's attitude issues (which is what I chalk his disastrous performance up to, not talent. He has good enough stuff to be a decent 4/5, especially for the Royals). He has a tendency to throw fits. The Royals are showing him that they're fine with not playing him in the big leagues if he isn't going to be a good teammate.

Cain is going to be an exciting CF when they trade Melky Cabrera. Great defender who is going to be a useful hitter, too.

You are an embarassment.

However, I agree we go fukt in the DDJ trade, which should have been obvious as soon s we found out we traded with the A's. Id rather have gotten the draft pick by letting him walk.

Melky is only 26? People give DM a ton of shit for his major league moves, but frenchy, melky, pods, and some other signings have been great. Even the farnsworth signing ended up being a positive.

Would be better off just releasing Mazzaro. Attitude is enough to have him unemployed. If his issues were hidden then Dayton REALLY got played.

Why release a guy that is young that could possibly get his shit together later? stupid

Anyone think at the trade deadline we trade melky, francouer and betemit?

I would the whole thing.

I think it depends on how close Cain is for Melky, and Moustakas will replace Betemit at third, so that's likely.

I think Francouer sticks.

If Mouse comes up and eventually bats cleanup, Francouer is a good fit in the 5 hole.

That's an emotional overreaction on the same level with Petro's ridiculous assertion that Hochevar should be released if he doesn't perform. I'm sure Moore is not pleased with Mazzaro's unwillingness to take one for the team, but it takes more to cut loose a guy with his potential than that.

His attitude says he has no chance to get it together at this point. Let him and his attitude be someone else's problem.

Agree.

I think there's a good chance both Gordon and Francouer are extended in the offseason.

Well, in the end guy's like Hochevar and Mazzaro have no place on a championship team.

Soren, is that you?

No.... not at all. You could just tell he was out of it in that start. I just don't see any of the "talent" people believe this guy has.
