Put in a ton of work tonight;

Got transmission fully seated
starter mounted
trans cooler mounted and ran
safety switch wired
shimmed the trans mount for driveshaft loop clearance
put u joint in and mounted driveshaft
adjusted rear end
re-pinned the ECU to accept the new speed sensor so the 4l80e works
wired the entire car front to back
mounted the intake and fuel rails
mounted and ran the tubing for the catch can
primed the motor
filled the trans and radiator

and this

Car moves under its own power, first and reverse. Car is running open headers right here, and was way louder in person than the video. My girlfriend was actually jaw dropped and scared by it, as she was standing right behind the car~ Still need to open up the segment for the automatic transmission in the ECU, start tuning etc. Very little left to do in the car before its ready to rip.

I have done a ton of this work myself, including assembling the motor, helping to mount every single thing, pinning the ecu and more

Sounds good. Did you drop an LS3 in that bad boy?

ls3 is a 6.2 liter block and gen 4 pistons and rods, with rectangle port heads.

This motor is a 6.0 with gen 4 pistons and rods, and cnc ported cathedral port heads.

Shut the **** up.

Finished up everything tonight but the tune, wired and ran the wideband and the trans temp gauge, my friend made some perfect aluminum mounts which we used to mount the guages in the vents in the dash. Finished up some very minor other odds and ends.

Tomorrow night the car is going to drive. Basically just going to do the segment swap (change ECU to be able to control the 4l80) tune on it a little and let it rip.

Exhaust shop Wednesday with more tuning and car should be ready to break the ten bolt real quick~

Put my 2nd full set of tires on the car and the 3rd set of back tires. 15K miles. I know it's my fault for the 3rd set on the back. But anyone in here know why the set on the front would go bad at 15K. Dealer is telling me these high performance car and tires are just like that. Bs? Or true?

What are you running, as in which tires? And are you going staggered so no rotations?
