Of course they are. Have two of the three top teams in the AFC bidding for him now.

Just because it's reported that way doesn't make it true. It could be just a smoke screen to drive up the price. |
Just shows how unreliable all this information has been. Where are Schefter and Rap?

Seems like this is going to drag out and not get done until closer to the draft.
Another month of Twitter rumors… oh joy. |
It's Arizona. They sat on a Peterson trade for years until they got literally nothing for him leaving. If that's the price just move on.
|
They don't have to move him or maybe don't want too. Tease us NFL you...yous! Attention whores, hosting SB wasn't enough

Something not adding up here.
Seems like market based on other trades for recent receivers should be a 3rd or 4th round pick as the main asset offered for Hopkins. That no one paid that must mean the market for him is thin, with few actual bidders. Sounds like AZ desperate to get more than what's possible. |
No way anyone is paying that

No one is gonna pay anything close to that, so they’ll either have to keep him right up until the draft and then auction him off to the highest bidder (which won’t be anything near what they want) or they will dig their heals in and continue to be the dumb organization that they are and stuck with a high priced WR on a rebuilding team that’s going nowhere. My guess is they cave before the draft. (4th and a 6th is my prediction) But Veach should stay off the phones with them at this point. Moving on . . . . . |
So he’s not going to get traded until either right before the draft…or right after. And no one is paying that with his contract, you ****ing idiots.
