That lineup is NASTY. Swap Zobrist for Infante once Gordo returns and pitchers don't get a break 1-9.

Yeah unless Esky slumps, I don't think Ned will mess with what's working. This opens up the legit chance that when Gordon comes back, Zobrist moves to 2B and Rios is our 9 hitter.

I imagine Rios will still be basically an everyday player. Zobrist will alternate between LF, 2B, and possibly SS (especially later in the season to give Esky some rest).

well, it is a counting stat. Zobrist has more full, healthy MLB seasons. A lot of guys near retirement also have more hits than Gordon.
