The thing is, we don't even have to be great on that side of the ball. We can be ranked between 20 and 25 overall and still get the job done. But ranking as a unit in the 30's will never see it happen. It's pointless. And any team that ranks in that bottom four clearly needs a change from the top down.

It's absolutely inexcusable what Andy has let his defense deteriorate in to.

The scheme shouldn't be so complicated that veteran DBs cant get lined up properly. That falls on coaching. This defense has the talent to be a top 10-15 defense at worst.

Reid needs to fire Sutton and thr rest of the DB coaches and look hard at the rest of the staff over there.

C'mon folks, we knew the D was going to cost us big time, and cost us games too. But so did Andy, Veach, Hunt AND Sutton. Sans Berry only playing the equivalent of about one game in the last two years being unexpected, nothing about this D is really a shocking development. I'm not saying it's OK, I'm just saying it's not shocking, and they banked on the O overcoming everything.

And I think we all know that if Berry comes off the pitch count for the last 3 minutes (if he had his muscles loose), we probably win the division last night. But we'll never know now, they weren't willing to risk it.

Bob probably reminds Andy of this every time the have an eating duel at the Golden Corral and Andy says he gets a head start because Bob only still has a job because of him.
