Nope. Another rental.

He will be a free agent after this season.

My God. This kind of thing just doesn't happen in Kansas City.

We have officially assembled the scariest team in American professional sports.

Seriously, name a team, on paper, any major sport, as scary as this one is.

It's incredible.

Seahawks adding Jimmy Graham and San Antonio adding LaMarcus Aldridge.

It's a stat that spans their entire careers, but the point remains; our team is now ****ing awesome.

DM meeting with the media via teleconference in about an hour on 610.

Unlike Cueto, we might actually be able to re-sign Zobrist if we want to. He'll be 35, and not super-expensive.

No. He's a rental.

Sorry, I trust Dayton Moore more than I trust you.

Would rather we overpay for Gordo (if we're choosing between the two - sorry on a Gordo soapbox atm).

By the time Gordon is 34, i'd imagine he'll pass that value. But it is a fair point.

No, not by himself. Neither could Mike Trout, Bryce Harper or Clayton Kershaw. Nobody wins a WS by himself.

But when you add Ben Zobrist as the perfect final piece to a team that is one of the WS favorites, it's a move that could make the difference.

Bufkin 07-28-2015 01:26 PM

The Zobrist trade reminds of me Josh Willingham last year. I think that turned out fantastic.

penbrook 07-28-2015 01:26 PM

Sorry Cuthbert will go down not Orlando
