I think Ned knows what he's doing with him.

Cain would disagree with part in bold

Not necessarily. You can still move him to the infield if needed. Hootie is dead on regarding the platoon. Hopefully that's exactly what we do.

I'd rather have someone up who can sub at SS or 3B in a pinch. We've been burned in the past by this particular hole.

You know that won't happen. I'd bet he probably won't play 2nd until Gordon comes back.

RealSNR 07-28-2015 01:47 PM

He's no Jack Shit, but I guess I'll take Zobrist.

Mr. Laz 07-28-2015 01:47 PM

Moore doing an outstanding job

Finnegan loss could hurt but we needed starting help to make a push this year

This means Hootie is probably right about Orlando going down.

Buying all this World Series champions gear is going to get expensive.

You can't justify it. You really can't justify it now with Zobrist in the line up. If you put Escobar #1 when both Zobrist AND Gordon in the line up, someone needs to kick Nedgar in the nuts. Right in the ****ing nuts.

Cain is a better player, but he is more replaceable.

I'd much rather have Zobrist at third than Cuthbert. That guy would be a butcher at the 6.

I'm worried that they're less inclined to remove Infante from the lineup than we all believe to be obvious. If he's only going to be LF/RF from here on out, we're making a mistake.

More importantly, he damn well better be an everyday player given the cost. And I'd rather see Hootie's platoon with Dyson out there more often than if we put Zobrist in LF every day.

Notice I said "SHOULD."

It doesn't make much sense to me to make THIS type of move and hit the guy 6th, but then again, neither does hitting Gordon 6th.

When Gordon is healthy, I can't imagine them hitting these guys 6-7. That would be pretty ****ing stupid.

Yep. Dyson hits righties just fine, and we get his defense out there.
