I got a 2 year warranty, i assume the ps3's are solid systems unlike that damn xbox 360...

I can't wait till school is out soon so i can start renting games...

i think like 40 bucks or something for an extra 2 years. so before it ends take it back in and get a new one ;)

All PS3's come with an automatic 1 year manufacturer's warranty from Sony. As long as you bought it from a store you should be covered.

Called em today...they're gonna send me a package to send it back and they are gonna send me a different unit...not sure if it will be brand new or refurb...either way I'm glad I don't have to pay anything other than time. Got 3 tests in the next 2 weeks anyway so it kinda works out good lol.

I just got ROCK BAND for PS3. I never played Guitar Hero before, so this was all new to me. Pretty cool. I like the drums best. But the kick pedal f***s you up! If it was just the four pads it would be a lot easier.

Bogus thing is: NO SECOND GUITAR! I guess they're making on and it will be out April 9th. If you want to have a guitar AND base, you have to find someone who also has their own setup and they have to bring their guitar over to use as base.

But they sell the drums separately? That comes with it! WTF?

Anyway, it's pretty cool to be playing something other than FPS games.

MGS4 looks insane...I'm pissed I never got into them back in the day.

yeah MGS2 was IMHO the most innovative of the series. while Raiden or how ever you spelled his name was rather annoying the games OUT OF LEFT FIELD storyline and new gameplay aspects were revolutionary for its time. id a recomended replay in my book.

Picked up a PS3 Wednesday with COD4 and MLB08: The Show. About wet myself with glee and I'm still going through all of the features. Got online last night on COD and was thoroughly pwned by prepubers but I haven't had that much fun in awhile. I also had difficulty setting up wireless network. After a number of frustrating hours I came upon the simple fix...firmware update for my router. Man was I pissed at myself but all is well. Tonight I'm going to try to set up the headset and then pull an all nighter. The wife is going to love that.

As for the headset i take it that its a bluetooth? we've had a mixture of good luck and bad luck with using those. i gave in and got a usb :huh:

As for the pwnage b/y vets on COD4...yes get use to that b/c it will happen ALL THE TIME. but it is fun so cool beans :thumb:
