And 53% of the passes are completed thrown towards Carr. The QB's who've thrown to Carrs side have a 93 QB rating.

Brandon Flowers had 56.5% of passes thrown towards him completed. Even crazier -- the QB's who've thrown to the side of such a player as Nnamdi Asomugha had a 98 QB rating.

Sorry but I don't see how Carr is better than either of those players. On this list Tyrone Brackenridge is the 27th best CB which is bs. I would like to know how they figure passes thrown to a guys side. Do passes to the RB count when the CB is 10 yards away in zone coverage? I don't get it.

I'm calling Bullshit. This is another WPI lie trying to rebuild their subscriptions.

Carr isn't better than those players according to those statistical rankings. he is better in the two categories that you specifically pointed out, though.

Good question about how they figure what passes are supposed to be thrown into a player's coverage. I'm pretty sure that the stats on that site don't give a complete picture of things, but its useful evidence nonetheless.

Except that the trade didn't happen.

And for the last ****ing time, it's entirely possible this news didn't leak until recently, considering JC's recent play.

Sweet, keep spinning

And why do you think that is? Could it be because Nick has no credibility and is a proven fraud? Doesnt that make you stop and think for a moment?

I honestly cant figure out whats going on here. Are some of you so hungry to bash Pioli that you would believe bullshit from Nick, or are you actually too stupid to know when Nick is snowing you?

Trot out all the sources you want saying Chiefs players were on the trading block. Have you really not figured out that all that does is give a con artist like Nick carte blanche to MAKE SHIT UP? He can (and did) float whatever bullshit trade rumors he wants, because nobody can say he made it up when there are stories about everyone being available. And to the five people who still pay him, he sounds plugged in and connected.

Athan doesnt have sources in KC anymore, you seriously think he has connections from the Redskins? Good Christ, this is the same asshole who a few months ago was talking about the Broncos trading Brandon Marshall for BRODIE CROYLE. Up until the trade deadline, he was still going on and on about the Chiefs trading for Anquan Boldin. Just tonight said he doesnt think Mo Carthon will survive a supposed purge of the coaching staff. MO CARTHON. Haleys right hand. Athan doesnt have a clue.

This is the guy some of you are falling all over yourself to believe? Comparing him to Bernie Miklasz, for Gods sake?

The posters at WPI dont even believe this story. ROFL

I don't blame Pioli. JC fumbled on every possession early on.

Plus if he had everyone on the team minus Cassel on the block, it wasn't like he was singling him out. He may have tried to make an active trade with Washington, but it sounds like it could have been anyone.

That makes it a little better. Like if Washington had been interested in LJ or Chambers or Albert or Flowers he would have negotiated for a good enough trade. Its not like he misread his talent level, he just wanted to switch stuff up.

Actually, no one has ever proven a thing, besides the fact he he isn't a great speller.

The only thing that has been proven is a readily apparent case of Stockholm Syndrome.

You're ridiculous. If I was being treated poorly I'd have left years ago.

The Bad Guy 01-04-2010 05:48 AM

A story like this might have some credibility if it came out around the time it was offered. It's 3 months later, and a whole lot of heresay, but it doesn't stop the anti-Piolites from forming a mass internet lynching simply based on the fact that the media said everyone was on the block at the time.

Hootie 01-04-2010 05:49 AM

I think it's funny that you can pay $2.50 a month for ESPN Insider and get ESPN the Magazine delivered every month...but you have to pay $109.95 for WPI?

Jesus.
