If you read through this thread many said Carwin was the real deal and he proved he is. He lost but made Lesnar look beatable~

He actually made Lesnar look more impressive. Lesnar got his head beat in and still came back and won and made it look rather easy.

I've never seen a guy turtle up for that long and take that many punches and them not stop the fight. Pretty obvious that Carwin thought the fight would be called because he landed uncontested punch after punch and all Brock did was lay there.

Pretty obvious that Carwin is the better fighter but the ref refused to call it.

thats not what happened at all. Brock was in danger? yes, did he cover up well? yes, did he grab on to his hands and move his hips legs every chance he had while on the bottom? yes. It was close to being covered up, but Brock did enough to convince the ref that he was still ok.

The Ref did a great job. I am not saying his as a fan of Lesnar, i didnt give a shit who won, i like Cain.

Rosenthal is probably one of the better refs in MMA. He was right on top of it and Brock was intelligently defending.

In 99 out of 100 fights the ref calls it when the guy turtles up and then the guy on top lands 3,4,5,6 shots uncontested. They don't have to be hard shots. Brock was not intelligently defending himself. Carwin thought the ref would call it, as most did, and he didn't. Carwin punched himself out while Brock turtled up. What's funny is, when they were both fresh Carwin stuffed his take down with ease then showed just how shitty Brock's stand up really is.
