Gabbert isn't Manning, but looking at a single game as your evidence of greatness or suck is reeruned. You are reeruned.

Also Mr Billay, lest you accuse me of being a MU homer, I live in Georgia, and root for the Dawgs.

I did grow up in Iowa though, so I do have personal experience dealing with the reeruned nature of Iowa and Nebraska fans. Biggest morons in the football world, which is saying something coming from SEC country.

OMG, billay has been missed. LMAO

Good thing the Colts didn't draft the QB that couldn't beat Florida.

Are you reeruned?

Manning is a bad example.

For those who have watched Gabbert in more than 2 games, why is his accuracy so low for a "spread" QB?

Prepare for a lot of bitching about drops by the receivers.

The only QB without questions I can think of is Elway. Pick any other then....

The homervision is strong in this one.

You are an idiot. I said I don't think Newton is worth any more than a late 2nd. Also said I would take Stanzi with OUR second, which happens to be a late 2nd. So there is nothing there saying I would take Stanzi over Newton, but only b/c I would not take Newton at all. Think it'd be a waste of a draft pick.

At worst, Stanzi is a solid backup for years to come. Whereas Newton may not last in the league through his first contract. Give an idiot like that money...real smart. Not to mention his drop is horrible, his accuracy sucks on everything but the deep ball and he can't make reads.

You guys go ahead and blow your load on potential, I'll pass.

He had two really bad completion games, one where he had a concussion, and the other where his receivers literally did not have an inch of breathing room. People dog on him for that Nebraska game, and it's bullshit. He put the ball in places that NFL QBs don't have to. His guys were that blanketed.

He was still way over 60%, and he did it with a poor supporting cast and a horrible running game.
