Here in Southwest Virginia our normal temps for this time of year is 28-34 degrees. this am we are 60 and the long range forecast is predicting 55-60 for the next 7 days.

a couple years ago we had around a quarter of an inch here and lost power for over a week. i was just saying two inches would be devastating.

It would be very bad indeed.

Around here one thing that happened after the big ice storms of 2008 and 2009 was they trimmed the absolute shit out of all the trees near power lines.

If they did a good enough job keeping up on tree trimming it should minimize the issues.
