If Stephen Paddock voted for Trump he is a terrorist

If Stephen Paddock voted for Clinton he is a terrorist

If Stephen Paddock voted for Stein or Sanders he is a terrorist

If Stephen Paddock did not vote he is a terrorist

Stephen Paddock is a terrorist.

There is a lot of overreaction going on.

It's always been safe. Nobody stopped having classes at UT after Charles Whitman capped all those folks.

The real issue here is the ease that one man can cause so much damage/carnage. It's a difficult enough issue to just get people to engage in a real dialogue.

Disclaimer: **I'm not now, nor have i ever been a "gun grabber", but the discussion of how to prevent this type of carnage is going to have to take place. I have no idea how you "prevent it".

Feel like the PR hit is gonna be so big that new changes will come from it. "How did this man get so many weapons to his room?" "What are you doing to make sure this won't happen again?"

How does the hotel answer these questions?

There is a fairly obvious reason for this.

No worries. She will be hired by CNN by the end of the week.

How does the hotel answer these questions?

Why should the hotel have to answer that?

And here's the next level of discussion:

why shouldn't the manufacturer of the (possibly used) trigger device that being discussed be accountable also?

I own an AR15 and several handguns, and I don't see how the manufacturer of a legal device should be held accountable for selling something that is legal.

I don't see any issue with making these devices illegal to be honest. I am pro gun but I don't really see a need for these kinds of things and this type incident does make me ponder the need.

What were his ideological aims?

I get being pro gun. I hunt, I have guns for that.

But some of these guns man, I dunno. I have a hard time seeing the reason for them but it's a tough situation

True

But does that mean there shouldn't be an effort to?
