when a player shows up 404 not found on their website, does that affect how good they will be in this game? For example, FS for the Rams Rodney McLeod is 404 when you click on him. Im just wondering what that means, if anything with the sim.

Nah. It just means that there's a broken link to his web page. You can go to pro football reference and look him up.

The funny thing is that there's a natural desire to get a guy cheap, but at the same time it might be better to bid more and get him for a longer time. I've had a couple of guys that I got for a dollar, and I snickered about it, but then realized that I would've preferred to sign him for a 3-year deal or more. I should have actually bid higher even with no competition.
