It's almost impossible not to get better, but I think the next few years are going to be really fun. I'm not expecting to win the Big 12 or anything, but there are a lot of good coaches on this team and I could see some games where KU just out schemes a team.

From a pure competitive standpoint, I think we'll at least have some fun games this year. I went to every home game last year. The only two games I enjoyed, from a football perspective, were N.Illinois and Baylor. Other than that, the games were dogshit from pretty much the beginning (cept OU for a half)

Oklahoma? Nope
Oklahoma State? Nope
Kansas State? Nope
West Virginia? Nope
TCU? Nope
Texas? Nope
Iowa State? Possibly, but likely not
Texas Tech? See above
Baylor? Lost some talent, still a much more talented team than Kansas.

How exactly is Kansas going to run show when they have jack shit for talent and will never be able to hang with the class of the Big 12 in recruiting (and in coaching), much less better conferences like the SEC and the Big 10. You can't expect to be more than a bottom feeder. Wait, let me rephrase that. Anybody who isn't a dumb **** homer like yourself wouldn't expect Kansas to ever be more than a bottom feeder in the Big 12.

I better go warn Vegas.

kcchiefsus knows the truth!

Where are you seeing Crist as one of the Vegas favorites for the Heisman? I use Sportsbook.com, and he isn't even on the board.

Looks like we're good enough for some.

KU plays the 2nd toughest schedule this year according to Phil Steele.

This team is going to run show and it's only going to get better.

What a time to be a Jayhawk.

ROFL Aren't you the same Beaker that claimed some slapdick KU QB was a Heisman candidate last year? Winning just one Big Bevo game would be an "accomplishment".

He gets reports from teachers on who is nodding off in class, not paying attention, not getting work on time - it sounds like every single detail. And if you do screw up, he said he's not above using "peer pressure" to embarrass the offender - though he didn't go into specifics - and that's before a 6 a.m. Saturday private workout with Holsopple. The impression I got was that those fell a few miles out of the ballpark of "fun."

I LOVE THAT

How many quarterbacks are we allowed to play at once?

WilliamTheIrish 04-01-2012 03:16 PM

They dismantled the End Zone <strike> Barcaloung </strike> Gridiron Club? That's probably a good idea.
