Dov Kleiman never has an original thought or story. He's always retweeting others stories. He's basically Adam Teicher.

Perfect for us! We're happy to work something out. Let's go!

James Palmer saying we're still in on both per my twitter feed, anyone confirm?

That's what it sounds like.

like any business - they are given a budget to work with in terms of cash. Clark isn't just handing Veach a blank check.

Does anyone really think Clark is short on some pocket change despite the cap?

He's probably not short on it but he's also not going to just go balls to the wall and throw money at everything every single year.

No. I guess he sets a "hard deck" number, every season? He's a businessman, so that'd make sense for him to think that way.

But if Andy/Veach came to him and said, "hey, we need this guy and it's going to take "x" millions to get it done," Clark would probably do it. He has no reason not to have 100% trust in those two.

O.city 03-27-2023 01:51 PM

After 5 straight AFC championship games at Arrowhead, 3 SB appearances, 2 wins, I'd think he'd be willing to spend a bit more.

But they may already have tapped that keg.

I'm sure signing bonuses eat into that annual "Cash" amount. I mean what..

Taylor: $18.9M
Mahomes: $12M restructure Bonus
Omenihu: $7.5M
Tranquill: $1.4M
Edwards: $1.4M
Couple other small bonuses

So about $43M or so in CASH sent out.

No idea if that high or average or what.

Balto 03-27-2023 01:59 PM

Looked and it seems we spent about $26-$30M on Bonuses last season.

That’s really not that much in NFL dollars. For a team that has performed at the level they have, I’m a little sickened to hear Clark is being cheap. We’ve had 10 home games each of the past 5 years, not to mention the cash that has been generated by our immense success and the new TV money flowing.

This is really kind of disgusting to hear if true.
