So you are saying there is room for improvement?

That could be pretty huge, honestly. Cole's physical talents are really not matched in this draft, which is why he could still go first overall with little surprise.

He could be one of those guys whose stock has dropped because he's been over-scrutinized.

As long as the Royals take one of Cole, Rendon, Bundy, Bauer or Starling, I will be ecstatic. If it is Matt Barnes or Taylor Jungmann, I will throw things.

i thought i saw something on espn first take or something today. for some odd reason, i thought jungmann had 1 more year of school?

maybe i'm just really sunburnt today? sorry if i'm more dumb than usual.

Kevin Goldstein of BaseballProspectus says it's Bauer:

Jungmann is a junior, so if he wanted to go back to Texas, he could. He won't, though.

To me, he's the pitcher most resembling Luke Hochevar in this draft. Big, "good look" pitcher with several average pitches but nothing spectacular.

I would be very happy with Trevor Bauer. He's Nuke LaLoosh/Zack Greinke weird, though.

thank you. i thought i saw something, but you filled in the missing pieces well, SIR.

UCLA guy just tweeted:
Gerrit Cole stumbled trying to field a dribbled. Men are at the corners, one out, but more important is Cole walking gingerly...

Keith Law's ESPN insider mock has Bundy to the Royals:

An open letter to Luke Hochevar: instead of giving up 5 runs every time you pitch, I had an idea. What about 0 runs? Or 1 run? Let's try it.

I bet a few teams are sending a doctor to Los Angeles this weekend to check him out. Could be nothing, but you don't want a "could be nothing" 3 days before the draft.

How DARE you criticize the Royals? You must be ignorant, jaded and a bitter, bitter person.

BTW: How's that whole "let's fatten up on the Twins this weekend" thing going?

I swear, if I was a top-5 draft pick I'd have been walking around in bubble-wrap for weeks.
