Lot of good players will be there tomorrow with the Chiefs 2a pick. Looking forward to it

I'm not. Their apparent lack of interest in him at #5 leads me to the conclusion that I'd rather they go with a WR or an OLB who can rush the QB with 2a. Or even a NT if they think one guy stands out above the alternatives.

To land them BOTH, WITHOUT TRADING UP.

Huge. ****ing huge...

I would literally ejaculate nonstop for 24 hours if that happened.

Yep, that would have been a long walk back to the hotel room.

Don't forget Minnesota is still in front of us. I still think there's a good chance they call Favre tonight and tell him they want him to come back, but they are picking Clausen for the future.

Yeah, I'd be fine with Cody at 2a too, unless he could be had at 2b.

Trade our 2b and a third for the first pick in the second. Draft Clausen. Then draft Cody at 37.

Is Cody far ahead of a Cam thomas or troup?

That's ****ing laughable beyond compare.

Brees was a guy that fell because people said he was too short. He lived and breathed football and by every measure was a leader and a loved teammate.

Clausen is supposed to have all the tools but is an asshole with an ego problem. That is why he's falling. Apparently it's very real and everyone seems to get this except some planet posters.

This makes Clausen even more appetizing, because now you don't have the pressure to play him right away, as his contract will be very manageable.

I'm sorry, when I said "everyone" I meant everyone except for you and The Guardian.

Chiefaholic 04-22-2010 09:11 PM

The Rams are on the phone as we speak with teams looking to jump in front of the Vikes to draft Clausen. If he manages to drop to us, then great. If not, Cody's still a damn fine option that shouldn't have fallen this far in the draft and become an immediate starter for us.

I don't really know how it works, but my guess would be that St. Louis can't jump the pick until tomorrow when the 2nd round starts so the Saints have the luxury of extra time without fear even though the clock ran out on them.

Yeah, except some people (obviously not you) may mature as they age.

And you have a kid who's been humbled, if that truly is a legit criticism. He'll be in extreme "prove everyone wrong mode".
