Wow. If true. Just wow.
How does a 400K guy turn down something along the lines of 3? |
He's at about 1MM now.
Here's what I don't get. So many people get frustrated that Anderson isn't more vocal and doesn't "work" the refs. Brad Stevens is deliberately one of the quietest coaches in college. He never gets upset, ever. |
That's not on my radar as a problem with Anderson. In-game composure is a major positive in my view.

Once Stevens takes a better job and eventually climbs the ranks and lands at a Blue Blood, he'll most likely be screaming too. Having to meet extremely lofty expectation year in and year out, does that to a coach, I'd imagine. |
Why wouldn't MU go after Danny Manning? You weaken a rival and he is fantastic at developing big men. Get a veteran coach to be an assist. to help him out running things while he gets his feet on the ground. Like that coach from Purdue sir supercombover ... isn't he an assistant at Duke or something.
start recruiting a ton of long, atheletic guys like the morris twins and you would be tough as hell. not that i want you to take Manning but ... |

Now If I was an MU guy and was tired of this crap Anderson keeps pulling… I would fill up a truck with Money and get Tubby Smith to come be my coach. Actualy as a KU guy I would like that it would make the big 12 eerrr... what ever we are a better conference.
|
Looks like Anderson is getting an extension and a bump up to $2M or so a year... ah well, on to the next guy on the list that is 10X better than Opie Pelphrey.
|
i hear that Larry Brown wants to coach college BB again ... back the truck up and get him.
He would do great for you guys for 2/3 years. Just have a backup guy ready to go when he leaves. |
Why would Brad Stevens even consider Mizzou? I'm not being negative here, but honestly ask yourself what would MU offer that he doesn't have (and desires) now?
Venue? No. Hinkle FH is a fantastic place. It's probably the best venue I've ever seen for a CBB game. Reminds me of what could have been had KSU decided to remodel Ahearn FH. Money? No. Would he want to go through the rigors of repairing the tenuous connections with StL. AAU/HS coaches? I just don't see it as reasonable scenario. Posted via Mobile Device |
Brad Stevens would be a dream hire for Mizzou.
