I'm going to be in town for the Baylor game. Anyone know where I can look for tickets?

I dont see ISBOOOO or WVU going through second half with only 1 loss.

They won't, but OU? Very possible. They have the easiest schedule left in the B12 (road games at TTU, TCU, KSU, and ISU) and are playing the best basketball of anybody outside of KU in the conference.

But the also lost to KSU at home... OU is a decent team, they will knock someone one off then drop the next game because... well Boomer Sooner!

Hope you're right, but that was a month ago now and they've looked a ton better of late. Still see them as the primary competition with that schedule.

KU won't play them again until the last game of the season. Ideally, that game won't mean anything by then.

That Baylor road win is looking better by the day. They're 16-5 and right behind us in KenPom. Had we lost on that last play they'd be in the conversation. Or if OU had pulle off the win in Mecca (since we will lose there).

Pomeroy has us as the luckiest team in college basketball. 1/351. We could've lost the GTown, Mich St, Utah, etc etc game and we cleared them all

The difference is their defense. I don't know what the deal is, but they don't just suck terribly defensively like they used to. Maybe Coach Drew is learning on the job?

I think he got some buys that aren't dumber than a bag of rocks.

To run D, you have to have 5 guys that have a brain. I'm not sure he has that.

I think it's his rebounding that's winning Bay games. Gathers looks like a poor mans Charles Barkley on the glass. He had somethin like 25 in a game earlier this year. Nobody can get any easy stick backs vs them. They won't be fun in March

Pablo 02-04-2015 12:49 PM

Baylor always has a nice group of talented players. We all know Drew is a great recruiter. Agree with PB; their length and tenacity on the boards will be a real bitch in a month.

Prison Bitch 02-04-2015 12:53 PM

Bay played ATM earlier this year, who's having a pretty nice season. Bay allowed....zero offensive boards. Nada. Espn said they've never seen that.

That's pretty nuts.

Drew has slowed the pace of the game down completely to TCU's level in order to reach that point (the game they played against KU earlier this year had the lowest amount of possessions for a KU game in the Self era). And the last thing college basketball needs is more teams like that.

In one game, he had like 5 more OREB than DREB.

You're right, rebounding is a big part of what they do. Heck of it is they're doing it with the shortest team in a long time.

Texas loses again. Dropping their fourth in a row and got sweeped by OSU.

I hope Texas is paying you well, Myles Turner. You deserve this suckage though for choosing Rick Barnes over Bill Self, idiot.

Why anyone would ever go to anywhere besides Kansas or Kentucky is beyond me.
