The engines are revving.

We had a few development bottlenecks, but should be catching up. Our plan is:

1. Hold a 2012 rookie draft (I predict that Russell Wilson will not last till the third round.)

2. Hold a veteran free agent draft. This may or may not be our permanent system, depending on some programming things.

3. Hold a 2013 rookie draft, hopefully before training camp, and then we'll be all caught up.

Right now I have them slated to start one week from today. I can change that if we need to.

You can start building your draft boards. Much faster and easier this year. Just slide the players on your draft board up and down to set the draft order for your team. Draft order is shown in the far right column of the rookie draft page.

Draft order is determined thusly:

1. Each group below drafts in order of ascending win percentage.
2. First tiebreaker in strength of schedule
3. 2nd tiebreaker is a coin flip.
4. Draft order is the same every round, which is slightly different than the practice of the NFL

Order of the groups:
1. Non-playoff qualifiers (slots 1 through 14)
2. WC losers (slots 15 and 16)
3. Division round losers (slots 17 through 20)
4. Conference round losers (slots 21 and 22)
5. Sandbox Bowl loser drafts 23rd
6. Sandbox Bowl winner drafts 24th

Later tonight I'll try to have an option to sort available players in order of their NFL draft position. That would likely simplify building your draft board.

The draft board is still a little glitchy when you add players to it. After adding a group of players, refresh the page before you sort. Refresh one more time and double check everything before you lock it down for autopick. If you follow these procedures, it will perform as expected.

Can we trade draft picks? How do we go about doing this? I'm looking to move my 1st round pick and possibly other picks...

You should be able to. When I get home tonight I'll check the trade system to make sure it us working properly.

Yea, it refreshes before I can make my selection I think - or I might just be doing it wrong.

I had no problem with anything and building my draft board.

I thought my teams were pretty strong, but I look at them now, and yeesh. I have some rebuilding to do.

A lot of my players arent even active anymore.. My biggest concern is QB - Kinda rough going into the season with Sanchez, Hasselbeck and Thiggy
